Back of chapel backpackers is a budget hostel near St.kilda beach that is so centrally located you'd think that the city of Melbourne was built around it. Public transport at our doorstep.Back of Chapel backpackers & hostel is a 150 year old Victorian terrace house that has just undergone a complete face lift, the hostels wrinkles are gone and everything is new, clean, with airconditioned common areas and as fresh as a baby's bottom. It has a state of the art kitchen, private bathrooms, internet, laundry, free breakfast and free Sunday B-B-Q (with real Aussie beef) and a TV bigger than Ben Hur(142cm)!!! Internet/reading room, both airconditioned.
Back of Chapel backpackers is a cool, (not only airconditioned) boutique budget hostel ( but still cheap)with a maximum of 36 people housing doubles, twins and 4-6 bed dorms. It’s nestled between St. Kilda beach, funky South Yarra (bars, clubs and shopping central), Melbourne city ( more bars, bands and clubs) and Fitzroy (Australia's undisputed grunge-rock capital).
