Project Objectives
To improve the living conditions of OVCs families in Bujuuko.
To reduce the vulnerability of OVCs from contracting preventable diseases.
To promote primary Health Care in homes of OVCs.
Cultural and educational visits
During the work camp participants will visit Kyebando cultural tombs. This is a cultural heritage site where the Baganda, the biggest tribe in Uganda buried a king and others from the royal family.
Note:
This camp is also in a location where there is the possibility of visiting Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO declared heritage site, Entebbe wild life Centre and Botanical beach gardens all found in a radius of not more than 40 kilometres from the camp site but at the cost of interested volunteers.
A cultural night will be organised and participants will be expected to display items, songs and dances from there home countries and traditions. Please carry along anything that will introduce your culture and make this day enjoyable.

The project activities include but not limited to;
Cleaning of water sources,
Construction of sanitary requirements e.g Rubbish pits, utensil stands, bathroom (for families of old people taking care of OVCs).
Cleaning of Trading Centres. Sanitation competitions. Community sensitisation/mobilisation on sanitation.
All charges are inclusive of transport costs for the volunteers from the Airport to the project
