Our lodge is located in the municipality of Alta Floresta, State of Mato Grosso, Brazilian Amazon. We work with birdwatching, butterfly watching, ecotourism and some soft adventure tourism programs. We receive mainly international tourists from EUA or Europe.  We already work with volunteers dedicated to birdwatching who come from USA or Europe, but we need to teach English to the local guides from our local community.

Role of Volunteer

We need volunteers who can help to teach English and who could stay 3 months in the lodge, using a tourist visa. This person should have skills as an English teacher (TEFL is Ok). (It would help if the person also knows how to speak Spanish or Portuguese in order to communicate with the staff at the

We also accept volunteers interested in bird watching.

Volunteers will be given food and accommodation free of charge for helping to teach our staff English.

Travel

Volunteers will fly to Cuiaba International airport and then from here travel either by bus or fly Alta Floresta from here we will pick the volunteers up.
