The ethos of this project is to live sustainably and in harmony with nature.  The mission statement is-

The farm and Café are run by an international volunteer team of staff from all over the world. About 4 or 5 team members and interns live on Mt Fuji full-time, while other staff visit regularly to help out while living in Tokyo and supporting the Embassy and Café in the city through outreach, promotion, the Roof Top Garden Club , etc. We are also largely supported through the help of our Short Term Farm Volunteers, who help with everything from planting to cooking.
