Church of Christ Experimental School is Founded in the year 1986 by a Church group, (CHURCH OF CHRIST). It is  located in the suburb of Kumasi. It was started as day care center with 20 pupils. Almost eleven years now the school is  ranging from nursery to Junior secondary level with 300 children enrolled.

 The schools aim is to seek for mental, moral and spiritual growth of the children in the church and the community. To achieve those aims, effort is being made by the church members to create a congenial environment for learning. As it has become necessary to put up more rooms to accomodate the increasing numbers of children, the managment board has found it necessary to seek for help from international  volunteers who are willing to contribute their time and energy towards this achievment.

Role of Volunteer

Volunteers are requeted to assist the local teachers with the various subjects taught. They are also requested to contribute their ideas to improve teaching in the classroom.

Also anyone who can help complete the ongoing construction is welcome.

Cost

Volunteers are expected to pay for the accomodation and food. That is $350 the first month and  $100 every subsequent month.

And $30 for airport pick up.

Travel

We can pick up the volunteers from the airport for US$30.
