Established in 1996 as only a pre-school Nursery with 5 kids, 2 female teachers and the Headmaster, Golden Era has come along way since then.

The brainchild behind the school was then Accountant, Charles Kofi Aboagye, and his accomplishments are nothing less than altruistic.

Upon receiving a gratuity from his place of employment, Mr Aboagye set about making it his mission to educate the children in his surrounding area. Mr Aboagye had to take many loans, juggle two jobs and even sell part of this home to complete the construction of the school!

His efforts have meant that each year 300 children are taught in proper class rooms with a proper standard of teaching!!

Role of Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to take on the role of either Classroom Assistant or as a Teacher, especially covering the following areas; Science, Maths, English, Computer Studies or Pre-technical studies.
