Nicaraguan Private Wildlife Reserve

This is the first private reserve officially recognized by Nicaraguan government. The reserve is totally dedicated to the conservation of the last patch of Dry Tropical Forest at the shores of great lake Nicaragua. The reserve has an ecolodge, nested inside the forest , the facilities are rustics but comfortables and super clean. The reserve is secluded far away from civilization, no noise no telephone rings, no electricity and no tv. . The reserve is commited to benefit the communities around the reserve  not only creating employment places but also helping the communities to  education and health care.

Role of Volunteer


We would like volunteers who can fill one or more of the positions below.

Teach.- English to the students at the rural school and also   to my staff.

Tour guide.- bilingual tour guide, must be biology student interest at the dry tropical forest. Birds and Butterflies.

Cleaning – General cleaning of the lodge

Construction work.- at the community project

Tourist host.- at the ecolodge, must like people and be interested in Nature

First Aid.- teach first aid to my staff.


Cost

We charge the volunteers US$30 per day for accommodation and 3 meals per day,

Travel

A pick-up can be arranged from the airport in Granada.
