    Over the past 6 years, I have lived and worked in Dublin, Rome and now London. I have worked with local councils here in London over the past 2 years to improve recycling practices and have contributed to the advancement of environmental policy and practice wherever possible.
  • I have a long history of involvement with environmental issues and have spent many months of my life getting involved with environmental movements in Australia ? notably with the organisation, Friends Of The Earth during the ?Jabiluka Anti-Nuclear Mine? campaign of 1998 in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. I spent several months there at the protest camp working with Indigenous Australians, politicians and fellow campaigners to bring an end to work at the mine and in turn guarantee the future of one of Australia?s most important ecosystems. 

    When I return to Australia in late 2009, I will begin studying for another degree - Environmental Studies (Sustainable Development) so my expectations are of course to learn many things from my time there, putting them into practice then, and of course, in the future.
    I believe also that I can bring many things to contribute to the continued success you are having there with my passion for environmental issues, knowledge, energy and enthusiasm.
